Photo Club Photowalk

...Thought it was time for an update... =] These are photos from the latest photowalk we took at Photo Club. We went down to Silver Creek park. It was a little cloudy, and it had been raining, so we almost didn't go, but I'm really glad we did, because this was the best photowalk yet!!

50mm f/1.8 Images

So, here are some photos I took the other day with my new 50mm f/1.8 lens! =] Only did minor color/brightness/contrast type edits. Loving the lens so far! [Also, clicking on the image allows you to see it in better detail.]

Something Completely Different!

So, these here are the photos my dad took of me on Sunday! What an interesting experience...being the model instead of the photographer!

PS: Just got my new 50mm f/1.8 lens! I'm pumped! Until I realize that it has no on-board AF, which I need with my d40x. So, that is kind of lame. But, I have been getting to know MF, and I think it will be just fine for the time being! I will post some pics taken with the 50mm soon!
